CLUBS STATUS REGARDING INSURANCE

So I just returned home from the club's monthly meeting and I can say the club will be obtaining insurance and will be operational soon. The final stage of getting our insurance will take place this coming week. After that the trail conditions need to be addressed. It's been at least a year and a half since any maintenance has been done and it's like mud season and these trails are wet. We have had a lot of rain this spring and not enough time for things to dry out. Then we need to organize some work parties to get get the trails cleared and trimmed. I personally checked out a couple of trails on the southern end and they are not passable currently, big trees down and just lots of water in other areas. Once the insurance goes into effect we will be putting together some small work parties to get the trails open.

I am currently looking for volunteers so that we can start organizing work parties. If your available to help out during the week or weekend to help out please let us know. You can do that by clicking here. We need all the help we can get.

I can also say that we are working hard to get the north trail system reconnected just give us a little time to put it together. The club has already secured 2 new location, 1 on the southern end and 1 on the northern end that will be announced once we can get them opened. They need to be cleared and signage needs to be put in place. More details will be released in regards to opening day but we are looking at least the first part of July.

Lastly, before anyone hits the trails we NEED NEW WAIVER & APPLICATIONS from everyone no exceptions.

I have been working on a new website so that this process can be streamlined. Hopefully this will be in place for everyone by the end of the week. Please just a little more patience
