Hello Everyone,
Going to start off by reminding everyone that it's Membership Renewal time. If you haven't done so, get
your renewal fees and any application updates done. There is a cut off date of May 11. If you didn't get it submitted before this date, you can submit it at the monthly meeting. All information regarding our club meetings can be found at FATVR MONTHLY MEETING - 5/11/2026.
It's May 1 2026 and the MUD SEASON RESTRICTION has been lifted and trails are open. Note that during the month of May the trails don't open until 12:00pm daily, It's Turkey Season.
There is still a lot of clearing that needs to be done at our new location Beaver Dam Camp to get trails open and create new ones. I will be on location from 12:00pm on Saturday May 2, if anyone would like to come help clear trails. Bring your tools and we will be on Rugged Radio Channel 17 for those who have radios. The Beaver Dam has been reconstructed and is now a trail, but use caution when crossing as the final details still need to be completed.
There is also truck and trailer parking available at this location. Just pull in and park where you see the dump truck and dozer. I just want to add one thing here. This landowner is being very generous with his property. There will be camping, swimming, fishing and other activities available as we move forward. Let's help this landowner and GETURDONE
